Yesterday's post made me start thinking about how much I lurve finding a new font so I collected a few of my current favorites in case you guys were in need of any font inspiration for any of your current graphic/ arty crafty projects. Looking at them I realize I have a thing for vintage and / or hand-written fonts; I am completely okay with whatever this says about me. I also realize that a lot of these come from Lost Type Co-op which is "based on a pay-what-you-want" model; you should check them out if you have a thing for fonts like I do.
Susie's Hand (the best handwritten font I've come across)
Pistilli (the runner up for my main font choice... so classy)
Love Potion #10 (you have to check out the "ornament" section of this one- it's full of what looks like hard drawn doodles of flowers and banners and sheep ~yes! cute little sheep!~)
Oil Can
Lobster (the "smartest" font in the bunch with tons of different ligatures- i.e. ways the letters connect)
Le bainau milieu la fin d'apres-midi vers 17:49 (and translation service would be appreciated here)
Airplane (simply simple)
Vevey
Hope you enjoyed this round up. Any of your favorites I should check out?
