Yesterday, when talking to my friends who have a new baby (mentioned yesterday) they mentioned the video "Happiest Baby on the Block". The dad described it as learning that your child has an "On/Off Switch". Cool concept, but the kids just a baby, right? I mean, that doesn't work with "normal-aged" (anyone who's age you do not count in months) people, correct?

Flash forward six hours and the boyfriend and I are hanging out with the couple that is exploring Ft. Worth with us. We are talking about how good of a day we've had and he mentions that he's glad he went on his run. I must have shot him a funny look because he explained that he had woken up in a horrible mood but after his 10 mile run he was back on track. To me, it sounded suspiciously like the aforementioned "on/off switch"... (A little back story: this guy had ran the Boston marathon a couple times. To say he's "into" running could possibly be an understatement. I.e. don't try this at home.)
My question is: Do I have a psychological on/off switch? If so, what is it? What will take me from a (metaphorical and/or actual) crying baby to a chilled out bundle of relaxation?
I'm not sure I have a switch. Maybe mine more closely resembles a dimmer....
What about y'all? Anyone here have an on/off switch?
