I have been a "maker" for as far back as I remember. I spent countless summer days sewing, painting, and looking through the home decor section of the Sears catalog trying to decide whether I liked the gold or burgundy satin curtains more. And while there are currently no satin curtains in sight, I am proud to say that I still believe that next to a good book and good conversation there's not much better than getting lost in my most recent creation.
Currently my creations can be broken into two main categories: DIYs and my Creat.Edit. Share series.
My DIYs are generally inexpensive and quick and often very "fly by the seat of one's pants" (best example & second best example), but I love the thrill of trying something new and making it work.
Create.Edit.Share came about as a way to test my fledgling Photoshop skills that I first began to pick up when I started this blog in January 2012. The quotes turned graphics have often been the best way to wrap up the feelings of a particular week both in and away from blogging and i have really enjoyed seeing my PS skills improve over the last few months.
Future goal: Add more home decor posts.
