All images are from Elise's blog
Simply put: Elise's blog is like a personal letter from the older sister I never had. She displays a personality that is effervescent and joyful but so very genuine. To use one of my Nana's expressions, she has talent running out of her ears but also has this insane level of drive and business capability that even the most experienced CEO would respect.
To say she's been an influence in my life lately is kind of an understatement: As regular readers may know, she was the teacher if the blog design class that is a large part of the reason this little blog looks so cheery. Looking over her blog in preparation for this post I realized that both my latest art project and tiny container garden were inspired by her (click here to see her art and garden projects) and I even asked her if I could use one of her statements as a quote for my Create.Edit.Share download series. (Thanks Elise for saying yes!)
A big part of her inspiration for me comes from her intentions (and follow-through) as a goal setter. She gives herself these cool projects and a realistic time-line and makes awesome stuff happen. A stamp shop in 9 days? No problem. (Yeah, that blows my mind in the best way.) Her latest "just for fun" projects include making 27 different projects out of 27 different materials and making 40 different versions of homemade pizza (insert my hungry face here).
Okay okay... I'll quit jabbering so that ya'll can go visit her site and soak up the coolness.
Come back if you find another bit of cool that I forgot to mention (there are lots!) so that everyone else knows too! Happy Tuesday friends.
p.s. I thought I pressed "publish" this ealy this morning... Obviously not. Sorry for the wait!!
