Vacation is starting as beautifully as I had imagined.

I've been laughing and talking and eating and taking pictures like a mad woman.  (All of these are iPhone shots but I finally got to play with my new DSLR that I mentioned in this post and am pretty sure I've taken a thousand shots in under twelve hours.  When we went out last night several people asked, "Are you a real photographer?"  to which I should have answered, "No, I just play one on the interweb.")

Today we're going to the races and then to the "First Ever Ninth Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade".  (Yeah, I couldn't make this stuff up.)
