As I mentioned earlier, my week started a little "off" when my little trooper (i.e. my computer) decided to... take an unscheduled nap... which results in today's picture-less post. Not the best situation, but I'm going to roll with it.
I mean- It is spring break!! It is ludicrous to even think "bad" would be an option.
Which brings me to my ten things to do this week.
1. Eat good food.
This is something that the Mister and I do regularly when we're together. We kind of feed off of each others energy in the kitchen and always have fun. My stomach is rumbling just thinking about the potential deliciousness.
2. Figure out my new camera.
I am in love with it and I have only had it for three days. I feel like how I imagine a mother does with her new child. Now, all I have to do is figure out how it works... much like how I imagine a mother does with her new child.
3. Plant a garden
This goes with #1. We decided that since we spend money on fresh herbs every time we go to the market we should see if we could "make our own."
4. Do Elsie's Blog Love class.
This has been on my "would like to do sometime in the future if I can ever find the time" list for a while. I finally "rewarded" myself with it last night (for making it to Spring Break, of course) and I am pumped about hearing what she has to say.
5. Stay off of Facebook.
I say this because I realized I was getting insanely jealous looking at friend's beach photos last night. That is silly. "Hello, Paige?!?! You're having a great time right now! Enjoy this moment and don't let silly Facebook make you be jealous of anyone."
6. Enjoy the rain.
We had the most amazing weekend and the weather could not have been more perfect. Now it is changing and that is okay. More growing potential for #3 and it's not like I'm at the beach or anything (#5).
7. Re-do a room.
The Mister's guest bedroom is a little... generic. I want to add some fun to it. And since I am a regular reader of Young House Love there is a large chance that this will probably involve spray paint at some point. Confused? Check out Sherry's projects here, here, and here to get you started.
Good stuff.
8. Catch a yoga class.
I have gotten out of my routine, I want to get back into it, and one class is a start.
9. Take a walk.
There are a beautiful set of trails around here and the Mister's dog, Josie, is 60 pounds of sweet wiggle-butt energy. Sounds like a wonderful walk to me.
10. Finalize plans.
I have big news that I am excited to share with you guys but have a few things to work out before it is set in stone. As my favorite NPR commentator says, "Stay with us..."
