giveaway :: my mistake, your gain

I am super pumped to announce the first giveaway in approaching joy history!  

But first, the back-story:

I was super excited after I took the Alt Summit class "Bringing Home the Bacon" by Melanie Blodgett at You Are My Fave. (I did a recap of that class, in case you are interested.)  So excited in fact that I immediately signed up for the next class that Melanie was teaching: Content is King.

But... oh wait... That's Friday.
I'm going to be out of town, seeing my boyfriend for the first time in a month on Friday.
I just got the email from the boyfriend about our dinner reservations with friends on Friday.
Dinner reservations at the same time that this class is scheduled... 
Oh crap...

That was my train of thought earlier today when I looked over my schedule.  Bummer, right?
Well, yes.  I won't get to do it this time around.  And Melanie is scheduled to become a new mother soon so there's a chance I may not get to do it any time soon.  But I will live.

The benefit of my bad scheduling?  A chance to win attendance in this class for yourself!  
The website bills this as a chance to answer the question:

"How do you develop [original] content and make it work for you?"

I think this would be an awesome opportunity for new bloggers who are wondering about getting into the blogging world as well as established bloggers who are interested in taking their blog to the next level.  It is a great opportunity for anyone involved to virtually "meet" a lot of cool bloggers across the world.  Tons of cool kids... seriously great opportunity.
