Way back in the beginning I explained the 100x100 challenge at length but here's the basics:
For the first 100 days of this blog I want to write at least 100 words a day, hence "100X100" And it can be anything: A recap of my day, how frustrated I am about a certain project at school, something about my amazing boyfriend, a new recipe, my latest traveling adventure, a particularly long grocery list...
The purpose is to get myself in the habit of blogging. And taking pictures. And thinking out-loud to a massive potential audience and potentially having no one but my mom actually read it. And being okay with that last thing.
And now I'm almost half way through!
The fact that it's called a challenge is... appropriate. It's been a struggle at time not only find the words to say but the time to type them and the right iPhone picture to go with them. (Yep, every picture taken by me and posted this far has been thanks to the magic of Apple.)
I think my biggest struggle has been making sure that every post is something that can stand alone as something of which I can be proud. I say this is a struggle because I'm the type of girl that doesn't like doing things half-way; making "something to be proud of" is time consuming! And (ask any grad student) time isn't something that I have too much extra of.
But it's worth it.
Finding that I can be this passionate and excited about a little ol' blog is something that is definitely a good thing.
Here's to the next 60-something days!
